Sarkaritel, the Indian information-analytical portal, posted an article dedicated to the development of the education system in Uzbekistan.
The article noted that the basis and purpose of reforms in economy and policy are a man, his education and upbringing of the new generation, capable to realize the idea of national revival. And these goals are one of the state priority tasks.
The publication stressed that providing citizens with quality and affordable education determines the development of society and its future as a whole. In this sense, this sphere is regarded as one of the most important and key areas of public policy in the country, one of the few in the world, and also demonstrates the tremendous progress.
It reported that the country’s achievements are evident in the field of personnel training that meets all modern requirements. It is not just noted by foreign experts, representatives of business circles.
Undoubtedly, the effective implementation of goals and objectives in the sector is largely dependent on two main factors. These, above all, are adequate funding and strong regulatory framework which establish the functioning system and allocate its main vectors of development.
Sarkaritel wrote that 14 trillion 419.3 billion soums from the state budget is directed in education in 2016, which is 16,6% more than last year. The funds are for the teachers’ salary, for reconstruction and construction of buildings of educational institutions, as well as equipping them with modern technical facilities. In particular, to open 52 new facilities and renovated of 14 higher educational institutions of the country are planned this year.
Additional funds for these purposes are allocated from the Fund for Reconstruction and Development of Uzbekistan. In 2016, 1,5 trillion soums are scheduled to direct for completion and construction of school buildings, and 480,7 billion of them will be used for the construction of new schools in the regions.
In conclusion it summarized that Uzbekistan conducted fundamental reform of the entire education sector during the years of its independent development, which allowed to establish an effective system of continuous training, almost unparalleled in the world.
