Chairperson of Uzbektourism Farrukh Rizzayev held negotiations with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Uzbekistan Fumihiko Kato on 25 March 2016.
According to Uzbektourism, the sides discussed priority directions of cooperation between Uzbekistan and Japan in the sphere of tourism.
In particular, the sides considered issues of attracting Japanese investments into construction of hotels of Toyoko Inn in Uzbekistan and organization of charter flights for tourists from Japan to Uzbekistan in April and May 2016.
