Rugby match held at the stadium “Dustlik” in Yuqorichirchiq district of Tashkent region. The first game ended with the score 8:31 in favor of the guests, the second match between Uzbekistan and India ended with the score 32:15 in favor of the hosts. Men’s Rugby team of Uzbekistan declared the winner of the third division of Championship Asia and won the right to pass to the second division.
Asian Championship rugby consists of five divisions and the Top 3, in which played the top teams of the region. Division Championship presented first, second and third level of the three divisions (East, Central-South and Western).
In games of the Central-South Division in teams of India, Pakistan and Uzbekistan were to meet. Team of Pakistan was unable to take part in the championship, so it was decided to hold two matches between India and Uzbekistan.
