Uzbekistan pass: launch of the service for travelers

An opening ceremony of Uzbekistan Pass online service was held at LOTTE City Hotel Tashkent Palace.

Uzbekistan Pass is a service that provides a wide range of services for tourists and anyone who wants to travel to Uzbekistan. Introduction of the service will bring tourism services to a new level and will become a serious platform for the development of Smart Tourism in the country. Due to large-scale integration with existing services and applications, Uzbekistan Pass can become an easy guide and an operative assistant for a traveler anywhere in the country.

Within the framework of the event, new products and services, launched in close cooperation with Uzbekistan Pass and UMS mobile operator, were also presented. In particular, UMS company is the first among mobile operators of Uzbekistan to develop and implement tourist SIM cards and two special tariff plans for tourists – Uzbekistan Pass 2000 and Uzbekistan Pass 5000. They will allow tourists and guests to use mobile communication and the Internet on favorable terms. UMS will also provide preferential access to Uzbekistan Pass navigator without using mobile Internet traffic. There are two types of tariffs for $5 and $10.

Uzbekistan Pass service has its own website and mobile application, which can be downloaded from Play market or App store depending on the mobile device platform and will accompany the tourist from the airport. For arriving guests, the company has prepared multilingual guidebooks of pocket format, which connected to the system users will be able to get for free. It contains detailed information about each region of Uzbekistan, attractions, historical sites, cuisine, holidays and other useful information for tourists. In addition, you can purchase a tour package or book a guide through the app.

SOS button is created for complete safety of a tourist. In case of unforeseen emergencies, the tourist can get help by pressing the SOS button in the mobile application of Uzbekistan Pass service. The tourist – the owner of the discount card will automatically receive health insurance when activating it.

There is also a “Mobile Navigator” in the application. Its uniqueness is in the fact that the tourist, indicating the point to which he needs to get, automatically receives full information about the route and time required to travel, as well as about the nearest places where he will be given a discount in presence of a discount card Uzbekistan Pass. The system will also offer to rent a car or book a taxi.

Hotel reservation service, transfer from the airport and back, the purchase of railway and air tickets, and much more are among the provided services.

In order to save money, users are offered an Uzbekistan Pass discount card, the owners of which will be given discounts in hotels, when visiting cafes, restaurants, cultural and historical places, when buying souvenirs from artisans of Uzbekistan and automobile services. In total, discounts with this discount card can reach 70%.

It should be noted that all services, except health insurance and tourist SIM card are also available for citizens of Uzbekistan.
