Environmental degradation and abrupt changes in external factors pose great challenges for agricultural specialists.
Scientists of Uzbekistan Rice Scientific Research Institute have created 20 new varieties of rice, 10 varieties of soybean and four varieties of mung bean. The most promising of them are listed in the State register.
According to the scientists, 14-20 percent of the crop grown due to various diseases and pests dies. And for this reason, it is important to grow crops based on resource-saving technologies.
New varieties of rice and soybean created by Uzbekistan scientists are characterized by rapid adaptability to local land and climate conditions and resistance to adverse external factors. Therefore, the harvest is expected to be high.
