On July 11, the President of Uzbekistan signed a Resolution “On measures on radical improvement of activity of internal affairs bodies in the sphere of migration processes and citizenship”.
According to the document, from May 1, 2018, it is planned to introduce an electronic system that provides a simplified procedure of rendering state services, including issuing of documents, examination and processing of documents for traveling abroad, obtaining a temporary residence permit, registration at the place of stay, as well as the provision of targeted information.
