This was reported by the Press Service of “Uztuqimachiliksanoat” (Uzbekistan textile industry) Association following the recent participation in the exhibition, in Dushanbe.
Taking into account the high demand for consumer goods in Tajikistan, agreements have been reached on supplying knitted fabrics from Uzbekistan. As a result, sewing shops will be opened in Tajikistan, and creation of new enterprises will lead to creation of new jobs.
Within the framework of the exhibition, a business forum for business circles of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan was held in Dushanbe, where contracts with domestic textile enterprises were concluded.
In addition, agreements have been signed between Buka Boxing Sportswear LLC and Tajikistan’s Boxing Federation, as well as Avazkhon Kelajak Textile Service LLC and SOHTMON M-21 LLC.
It should be noted that in 2017 the bilateral trade amounted to 236.8 million dollars, which is 20.2% more than in the previous year. There are 22 enterprises with participation of Tajik capital, in Uzbekistan.
