Hong Kong hosted the third Asian Athletics Championships among boys and girls under the age of 18.
In the championship, which was attended by about 200 athletes from 19 countries of the continent, Uzbekistan athletes won one silver and a bronze medal.
In the championships Uzbekistan’s Shakhribonu Gofurjonova received a bronze medal. One more our athlete – Nodirbek Bekatov with the result of 71.76 meters won the silver medal in javelin throwing.
