The Board of “UZEX” held its enlarged meeting on October 22, devoted to results of work of the exchange in 9 months of 2016, and the tasks for the fourth quarter. The heads of subdivisions of the Central apparatus and regional branches attended the meeting.

All trading platforms of the exchange have demonstrated positive results over 9 months of this year. The total volume of transactions made up 8.8 trillion soums, which is 36.3% more than in the same period last year. The volume of exchange transactions increased by 35.8% having amounted to 6.8 trillion soums. The growth of sales in physical terms are marked on such commodities as coal –69.5%, cotton linters –46.4%, zinc –25.8%, polyethylene – 15.7%, copper products –14.5%, automobile gasoline – by 7.6% and others.

The reporting period also saw a wide participation of business entities in the exchange, fair and auction trades. Thus, in January-September of the current year entrepreneurs of the stock exchange purchased products worth 4.5 trillion soums, which is 18.8% more than for 9 months of 2015. Along with this, they sold products worth 1.8 trillion soums or 23.6% more than in the same period last year.

The positive dynamics of trades was recorded in the system of exhibition-fair trades, the volume of which grew by 46.4% having amounted to 1.1 trillion soums. The number of deals committed on this platform went up by 13.5%. Products worth $47.4 million were exported through the currency trading platform of the exchange, with the growth making up 8.1%.

The volume of electronic trading in the system “D-xarid” increased by 24.2% and amounted 431,7 billion soums, while budget savings reached 95.3 billion soums. The share of small businesses in the supply of goods (works, services) on public procurement via electronic auction trades made up more than 99% of the number and volume of concluded deals.

The volume of corporate procurement “E-xarid” increased by 28.1% to 333,9 billion soums, whereas budget savings made up 73.9 billion soums. The share of small businesses in the supply of goods (works, services) under corporate procurement exceeded 98% of the number and volume of concluded deals. In the course of the auction, each request in the average received 16 counter-offers.
