Surkhandarya regional council of UzLiDeP and the faction of the party in Parliament organized a practical seminar to discuss the draft law in the new edition “On labor protection” and bring to the population changes and additions in the legislation with the participation of the public, professionals, experts and representatives of the party electorate.
At the event, MPs of the Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis have explained every paragraph in the document.
– This draft law provides to bring the norms of the law into line with the requirements of newly adopted laws and normative-legal acts, increasing responsibility of employer and employees on implementing in organizations of occupational safety requirements. It aimed at preventing cases of concealment and overdue inspection of occupational accidents, failure to comply in a timely manner the public authority which supervises the implementation of occupational safety and health requirements, as well as strengthening the financial support measures for labor protection, – says deputy of UzLiDeP in the Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis K. Rasulov. – In addition, it specified the functions and tasks of the specially authorized state bodies, other government bodies on ensuring appropriate control over working conditions and labor protection. I think it will contribute to further strengthening of the feedback from the electorate.
In general, it was noted that the electorate of UzLiDeP is mainly comprised of entrepreneurs and farmers who are employers, it is important to review the current law “On labor protection”, which in turn will strengthen the social responsibility as of employer, so of responsible workers on the execution of labor protection requirements.
All proposals and recommendations will be thoroughly considered by deputies and taken into account in further lawmaking.
