Uztransgaz will start modernization of highway gas pipelines in the territory of Uzbekistan.
RIA Novosti reported that the cost of the projects makes up US$506 million. In particular, the company will build gas pipeline with the length of 198 km and modernize booster stations.
Uztransgaz will direct US$266 million to project on construction of new 165 km gas pipeline Yangiye-Tashkent, which will help to stabilize gas supply to Tashkent and Ferghana regions. The capacity of the gas pipeline is 10 billion cubic meters of gas a year.
The company plans to modernize one booster station and construct new one at gas transportation system Central Asia – Center. The cost of the project is US$215 million
