At the meeting, held on June 27 under the chairmanship of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, special attention was paid to another important issue. In the villages included in the program, the pace of work on construction and repair of social facilities is lagging behind. Including, the development of design estimates for 318 schools has not been completed. It is necessary to speed up the development and approval of industry schedules for the repair of 109 family polyclinics. Work on repair of medical institutions is delayed in Kashkadarya, Samarkand, Syrdarya regions. Work on reconstruction and repair of pre-school education institutions is carried out on time only in Bukhara, Jizzakh, Navoi and Tashkent regions.
Erection of modern retail and public service outlets in rural areas gives the expected results in improving the living conditions of rural residents. At the meeting held two months ago, instructions were given on construction of 368 shopping complexes. At present, construction of 52 of them has been started, areas for construction of 36 of them have been allocated, reconstruction is being carried out in 66.
At the meeting, it was noted that it is necessary to take measures on building 214 supermarkets, providing vacant buildings and facilities for entrepreneurs to organize activities in rural areas for consumer services and baths.
