Wang Chen, Secretary-General of the Standing Committee of the China National People’s Congress, believes that the participation of the Uzbekistan President in the forum “One Belt, One Road” made a great contribution to the success of that international event.
– The state visit of President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to China opened a new chapter in the history of relations between our countries. As a result of the trip, more than 100 documents were signed for a total of nearly $23 billion. The participation of the President of Uzbekistan in the forum “One Belt, One Road” has made a great contribution to the success of this international event.
I am glad to have had the honor to meet again with the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev in Tashkent. We began practical implementation of the agreements reached during the state visit. In the course of the conversation with the head of state, we exchanged views on issues related to this process and found that we are equally interested in the successful implementation of the deals. For our part, we will make all the necessary efforts.
I am confident that in cooperation with Uzbekistan, we will achieve even greater success in the trade, economic, transport, hydropower and other spheres in the process of the revival of the Great Silk Road.
