An eponymous international program has been presented at the Uzbek State Circus.
The program is one of the outcomes of efforts directed at the development and consolidation of international culture ties of Uzbekistan. Artistic performers from Poland, Belarus, Germany, Russia and other countries have come to our land to demonstrate their skills and exchange expertise.
Performance in the arena of the Uzbek State Circus is a great honor for any artist; after all, the Uzbek national circus has earned world renown for more than a centennial history.
The national independence years have proved a time for further perfection and development for our circus. Owing to the comprehensive support and attention paid by President Islam Karimov to the sphere of culture and arts of Uzbekistan, everything necessary for bolstering the professional mastery of artists has been created, new circus programs have been worked out to meet the growing demands of the contemporary spectator.
“The Uzbek spectator, who was brought up in the high professionalism of national artists, knows well and loves the circus art. And we are rather glad that our international program has succeeded in Tashkent,” says the People’s Artist of Belarus Sergei Gulevich. “Each performance is accompanied with storms of applause by both adults and children, who greet the number with warmth and goodwill.”
The international program “Warsaw Circus” is packed with brilliant and exciting numbers. Especially appealing is the amusement with the participation of Indian elephants. Spectators are particularly delighted with an original performance with gigantic soap bubbles, African dances with fire, tightrope walking, acrobatics, juggler acts, which hardly leave anyone indifferent.
