It is a double celebration for Dilshodjon Makhamatov’s family, residing in the citizens’ gathering of “Novkent” makhalla in Fergana district. His house was repaired with the assistance of the Federation of Trade Unions. Dilshodjon, the disabled of the group II, is happy for such care and attention.
– We are grateful to the President of our country for such support, – says Dilshodjon. – My wife is also disabled. We have two kids. The renovation of our house became a great holiday gift for us.
Activity on providing people in need of better housing and living conditions with houses, and those families who lost breadwinners, repairing their homes, providing practical assistance in recovery is continuing in Fergana region.
– Territorial programs have been developed in the cities and regions on providing gratuitous assistance to low-income groups of the population, – says the chairman of the council of the regional association of trade union organizations Tuychiboy Sarimsokov. – For example, activity is being implemented on providing targeted assistance to 2 451 families, providing 38 families with houses, repairing houses of 190 families, providing home appliances to 2 109 families, and treatment of 114 family members.
