The capital hosted the Republican Scientific and Practical Conference “Problems and ways to improve the effectiveness of vocational guidance and provision of psychological and educational services to students of secondary schools”.
The initiators of the forum are the Ministry of Public Education and the National Center of vocational counseling and psycho-educational assessment of students. With participation of schools, colleges, high schools and universities it was discussed the issues of improving the work of specialists in the sphere, identify and support gifted children, provide coverage of ninth grade students with next stage of education, strengthening cooperation among mentors, parents and communities in solving the problems of difficult to bring up children. On the example of centers “Barkamol avlod” it was discussed the importance of extracurricular institutions in the organization and development of useful leisure skills. It was noted the need of students from the first to ninth grades to get acquainted with different professions within the general subjects.
