The delegation of Uzbekistan, headed by Deputy Prime Minister Tanzila Narbayeva, paid a working visit to Switzerland.
In Geneva, within the framework of the 106th session of the International Labor Conference, negotiations were held with ILO Director-General Guy Ryder. According to him, the sides achieved significant success in many areas of cooperation.
The ILO Director-General thanked the leadership of Uzbekistan for ratifying the 1948 ILO fundamental Convention No. 87 on Freedom of Association and Protection of the Right to Organize. “We hope that work on studying the compatibility of other ILO conventions with the national legislation of the republic will continue,” he said.
