In Tashkent, representatives of the growing generation have taken part in the 6th sports festival for the Cup of Soghlom Avlod Uchun international charity foundation held under the motto “The World of Grace”.
The purpose of the event is to further popularize sports among young people.
The competition is organized within the framework of the State Program “Year of Dialogue with the People and Human Interests” by the international charitable foundation Soghlom Avlod Uchun together with a number of public and social organizations. More than 150 boys and girls participate in swimming competitions, synchronized swimming and sports dances.
At the opening ceremony of the event, Svetlana Inamova, chairperson of the Soghlom Avlod Uchun international charitable foundation, noted that the attention paid to the development of children’s sports, the extensive engagement of the younger generation, especially girls, in physical culture and sports, has been yielding remarkable results. In all regions of the country, modern sports complexes have been created, and there are ample opportunities for doing sports, which promotes healthy lifestyle among children and young people and their comprehensive development.
In particular, in swimming and synchronized swimming competitions, the performance of Sh. Mukhamedov, Ya. Yakimchuk, M. Mirzohidov, A. Hakimov and other young athletes received high acclaim.
