Pattaya hosted the Third Kurash Confederation Asia – Oceania Congress within the framework of the Sixth Asian Junior U20 Kurash Championship.
It was attended by representatives of kurash federations from more than 20 countries of the region.
Addressing the meeting, IKA Technical Director Reza Nassiri noted that KCAO is one of the strongest kurash confederations. IKA starts to manage world wrestlers’ rating system. Asian continent serves as an experiment in this area.
Further development prospects of kurash in the region were discussed. Relevant decisions were taken on action program in this area.
