IIMFCS representative took part in ODIHR OSCE training

Independent Institute for Monitoring the Formation of Civil Society (IIMFCS) set up cooperation with the Project Coordinator of OSCE in Uzbekistan in various fields, including the participation of experts from the Institute in trainings of Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) on preparation of short-term and long-term election observers. iimfcs1According to IIMFCS, Chief specialist of the Institute participated in the training on the preparation of long-term observers of electoral process that took place in Belgrade (Republic of Serbia). In total, the training was attended by 27 people – representatives of electoral bodies, ministries of foreign affairs, research institutions and non-governmental organizations from 16 OSCE participating states.

Under the program, the participants were informed about the activities of the ODIHR, including monitoring the conduct of democratic elections, principles and standards in the field of elections, methodology and organization of the long-term observations, reporting on the results of observation.

As a result of the training each participant received a certificate of successful completion of the training program for the preparation of long-term election observers.
