01.08.2014 In Navoi region it was held a “round table” on the role of the media in covering elections, reports the National News Agency UzA.
The event was organized by the Navoi Regional Branch of the Independent Institute to monitor the formation of civil society.
It was attended by members of the Regional Election Commission and members of the media.
During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on issues of compliance with the principles of media objectivity and transparency in the coverage of the campaign, as well as timely and reliable public information about the upcoming election.
