Milliy Tiklanish hosts seminar dedicated to Uzbekistan’s Independence Day

Milliy_TiklanishCentral Council of Democratic Party of Uzbekistan “Milliy Tiklanish” and faction of the party in the Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis in cooperation with Tashkent city council of the party organized seminar dedicated to the Independence Day of Uzbekistan.

Representative of the party, MPs from the party, leaders of the Women’s Wing and Youth Wing of Miliy Tiklanish, lawyers, scholars, students and others participated in the event.

At the event, the participants discussed issues related to celebration of the 24th anniversary of the Independence of Uzbekistan.

The participants also discussed achievements of Uzbekistan during independence years, the Uzbek model of development, increasing well-being of population, etc.

It was underlined that Milliy Tiklanish pays great attention to promote democratic reforms among population and youth. It was said that Independence is the highest happiness for each person.

The seminar noted that the independence of Uzbekistan helped to revive national government and self-consciousness, traditions and customs, religion, and gave opportunity to study lives and works of the great ancestors.

The participants also considered achievements of Uzbekistan in economy and developing industry sector. It was said that 25% of GDP fells to share of industry.

The economy of Uzbekistan rose by 5.5 times in historically short period, while real income of population per capita – almost 9 times. New industries such as automobile, petro and gas chemical industry, production of modern construction materials, home appliances, pharmaceuticals were created during last 24 years in Uzbekistan.

The participants underlined that taking into account situation in the world it is necessary to protect independence and peace of Uzbekistan to ensure sustainable growth of the country.

The participants developed recommendations on improving efficiency of events, which are organized by Milliy Tiklanish in the regions, dedicated to the Independence Day.
