Uzbekistan is a model of tolerance for the whole world.
Such an opinion was expressed by the Minister of Religious Affairs of Israel, David Azoulay in the past information evening in Tel Aviv, which has been dedicated to the anniversary of the state independence of Uzbekistan.
– The people of Israel in moral debt to Uzbekistan for saving the lives of hundreds of thousands of Jews during World War II. In this regard, your country is a genuine model of tolerance, inter-civilizational and interfaith dialogue.
Heading for a comprehensive strengthening of relations with the friendly Uzbekistan remains one of the priorities of the foreign policy of our state. We are interested in further expansion of multifaceted cooperation with the country, which plays a key role in Central Asia, – the Israeli minister said.
D.Azoulay stressed that the basis for the sustainable development of our country are such factors as robust and balanced policy, balanced and constructive policy of building a democratic state of law, stable rate of economic growth.
It should be emphasized that exhibition devoted to the rich spiritual and cultural heritage of the Uzbek people and the modern development of the country, as well as concert program with participation of “Lazgi” ensemble have been held in the framework of event in Tel Aviv.
