According to the State Committee on Development of Tourism of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the developed State Standard of the Republic of Uzbekistan O’z DSt 3284:2017 “The system of standardization of the Republic of Uzbekistan. A trademark applied to the marking of exported products. Main provisions”, approved by the resolution of Uzstandard agency of 26.12.2017 No.05-912 is relevant and very timely.
The standard provides for mandatory use of Welcome to Uzbekistan trademark on the marking of exported products with reference to Uzbekistan Travel portal. The surface on which the trademark is applied must provide clarity and a clear image of the trademark throughout the service life of the product. It should be emphasized that using the trademark, its purpose and application are regulated by this standard. The standard applies to products manufactured by business entities. One of the features of the above standard is that it enables tourists to get acquainted not only with the sights of Uzbekistan, but also gives a clear idea of products produced for export. It should be noted that this is the implementation of the paragraphs of the Control Plan for ensuring the implementation of the Protocol of the meeting of the President of October 2, 2017 on the issue of integral implementation of the state policy on development of tourism.
