During the visit of Uzbek delegation to Madrid, Spain, a signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Understanding between the United Nations World Tourism Organization and the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Development of Tourism was held.
The sided decided to implement a number of projects in the field of tourism for increasing the practical importance of the signed agreement. Thus, in the first quarter of this year, it is planned to organize the visit of the UNWTO international expert to Uzbekistan for introducing the tourism satellite account system and conducting workshops for specialists in the field of maintaining statistics.
In addition, as reported by the Press Service of the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Development of Tourism, the sides will cooperate in promoting the country’s tourism brand in foreign markets and improving education in tourism industry.
