8 MARCH – INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY
President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov signed a resolution “On awarding the state prize named after Zulfiya” on 1 March 2016.
Uzbek leader said that laureates of the prize will receive diplomas and orders at the celebrations dedicated to International Women’s Day, marked on 8 March.
Finance Ministry was entrusted to issue remuneration to laureates at the size of 50 sizes of minimal salary, set in Uzbekistan.
List of laureates of the state prize named after Zulfiya:
Aziza Bayjigitova, Sevarahon Foziljonova, Gulnoza Alieva, Mohigul Raimqulova, Mohidil Nizamova, Dilfuza Holbutaev, Gulirano Voqqosova, Diyora Keldiyorova, Nodira Gozieva, Komila Shoyimova, Zulhayo Raimqulova, Zulfiyahon Mamajanova, Ozoda Ismailova and Aziz Botirova.
Uzbekistan Havo Yollari (Uzbekistan Airways) will resume flight to Lahore (Pakistan) in July 2016.
According to the airline, the flights of Uzbekistan Havo Yollari will start to carry out passenger flights to Lahore from 20 July 2016.
The airline said that the flights to the city of Pakistan will be conducted twice a week. The flights will be conducted on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Uzbek companies will present tourism potential of Uzbekistan at the international tourism exhibition ITB Berlin-2016, which will be held on 9-13 March 2016.
Uzbekistan will present new stand, which was developed in assistance of GIZ. It is expected that the Uzbek stand will include such companies as Uzbektourism, Uzbekiston Havo Yollari, Uzbekistan Temir Yollari and 13 private companies.
The Uzbek folk groups will present their songs and dances. It is also planned to present Uzbek cuisine and wines.
