Recently, the State Conservatory of Uzbekistan hosted a concert of symphonic orchestra, which performed works of the famous Uzbek composer – Felix Yanov-Yanovsky. The concert’s novelty of the small orchestra “Turkiston” was the fact that to the attention of the audience were offered an unusual melody played on strings, brass, and keyboard instruments.
The conductor of the concert “Five Concerto Grosso,” which took place in the framework of the International Arts Festival “Golden Autumn,” was the art director of the orchestra, Honored Artist of Uzbekistan Eldor Azimov. The winners of international contests – Alibek Kabdurahmonov, Hurshid Hamidov and Jamshid Ubaydullaev performed as soloists.
The next concert of the famous Uzbek composer Felix Yanov-Yanovsky, whose works are played in stages not only in Uzbekistan, but the UK, France, Netherlands, Czech Republic, Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and other countries, and this time was enthusiastically well received by listeners.
