On April 27-28, the traditional Boysun Bakhori (Baysun Spring) Folklore Festival was held in Padang village of Surkhandarya region.Baysun Spring is a celebration of unique cultures. Its goal is to collect and show the heritage of the past, which is carefully preserved not only in Baysun, but also in other regions of Uzbekistan.
As reported by the Press Service of the State Committee for Tourism Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan, a large camp with yurts and handicraft counters was organized in the foothills of the district, where guests got familiar with folk traditions and performances, handicraft creations of Uzbekistan architects with bright national costumes and delicious national dishes.
Guests enjoyed national melodies performed by folklore ensembles and solo performers from all over the country.
