Uzbekistan delegation attended the Aspara Fashion Week in Kazakhstan.The event was organized by Uzbekistan Women’s Committee with participation of designers from the Design Center of “Uztuqimachiliksanoat” (Uzbekistan Textile Industry) Association.
The visit was conducted within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the National Commission for Women, Family and Demographic Policy under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan Women’s Committee.
Within the framework of Uzbekistan delegation’s visit, a roundtable discussion was organized with participation of representatives of the Women’s Committee of Uzbekistan, “Uztuqimachiliksanoat” Association, the regional branch of the Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan “Atameken” and the leaders of Uzbekistan Entrepreneurs Association.
At the event, the head of strategic forecasting and scientific research work coordination department of “Uztuqimachiliksanoat” Association D.Mukhamedova delivered a speech.D.Mukhamedova informed about the activities of the Association and its enterprises, the role of women in production process, their position.
Following the event, it was announced that Aspara Fashion Week 2019 will be held in Tashkent.
According to “Uztuqimachiliksanoat” Association, Uzbekistan’s designers, in particular, Shakhzoda Mukhamedova, Shoista Babamirzayeva presented their collections along with leading designers from the USA, Italy, the United Kingdom, France, Turkey, Serbia, Russia, India, Georgia, China, the Netherlands and other countries.
